Aisha Hinds is an American actress best recognized for her roles on the television series The Shield and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003, she has proven her ability as an actress, delivering amazing performances on TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her role as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. But it was her role as women's rights activists Fannie Lou Hamer from the documentary film All the Way that finally earned her acclaim as an actor. Hind was also praised for her role as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's dramatic period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 was renewed for the third installment with 20th Century Fox Television. Hind completed filming recently for the Hollywood flick Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is due to release in the middle of 2019. His father Krishnaraj is an Army scientist who passed away on the 18th of March, 2017. Mother Vrinda was a domestic worker. There is an older brother Aditya Rai who works as an engineer in the merchant navy. The elder brother of Bachchan and her mother produced Dil Ka Rishta. Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai was where her parents relocated to. Her intermediate studies were completed at Jai Hind College for a one year, before transferring to D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she was able to score a 90 percent for her H.S.C. exams. She spent the first five years of her adolescence studying classical dance and music. She had a successful acting career through her appearances in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan became famous in The New Bollywood because both films turned the Bollywood film genre completely upside down. Bachchan's heartbreaking portrayal of Paro the love interest who was jilted by her lover in Devdas (2002), one of the most famous Bollywood movies of that time. Its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival cemented her as Queen of Bollywood. The film received a lot of praise for her performance of Chokher Bali (2003) the dramatic, ad-hoc drama that was based on the Rabindranath Tag novel. That same year she was also the sole Indian actress in the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan was on the screen in Gurinder Chatha's Bride and Prejudice. It was a musical and dance adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The beauty and fame of Bachchan was then merged in her first English film. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood with her hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). She was married to Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star who is the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most prominent personalities in one place.
